He says all, especially the developed countries along with the World Health Organization, Covax mechanism and partners should increase their efforts to mobilize financial support and vaccines to countries that do not have access to vaccines or find it difficult to order on time, regardless of race, religion, or political affiliation. He has emphasised on reapplying the principles of multilateralism and trade and investment liberalization, rather than withdrawing from these principles.

Say Chhum says, “We must work together to improve the rule of law and make trade more sustainable. Improved uninterrupted supply chain to ensure environmentally friendly and sustainable post-epidemic Covid-19 outbreak. More than that, we must consider the people as the heart of our restoration plan. Therefore, we need to provide more resources to the social protection that does not affect our prosperity, but rather it is an investment in our people and our future, it has helped to build our stronger regional economy. We also need to help prepare our people to adapt to the normal course of the new trajectory through skills training, further skills development, and through the use of technological innovations.”
